The film is filled with realistic gore, and keeps you following promptly but allows you thinking time as well. Mesrine played by Vincent Cassel, fits the part superbly and his change of appearance in the film is authentic as well.
Although in the opening scene, i unfortunately got a bit shocked when a dog barked, (bearing in mind this film is throughout shooting/killings/murders?!!!!) and threw hot tea over myself so i had to sit in the cinema for a further two hours wet. nice.
if you have a chance to watch, it is well worth the view and not one to disappoint.
Anyway, part two is next Tuesday Mesrine: Public Enemy Number One, Which I am hoping is going to be a good as the first part, and from the reviews i have read, it sure is going to be a banger!!
